Well mannered, graceful and happy as a pig in slop.
very good physical condition & riding skill ....!
He did the xr proud with the way he rode it👍🏻
😮😮😮 Wow,amazing
I rode 600 and 650 for twenty years. Im really fast but XRs jump very badly. This guy is good. First time I jumped a YZ I almost I almost did a backflip before backflips were cool.
Cool video bro, I used to have a vietnam era military jacket, m30 i believe, and the name of the soldier who it used to belong to was named egger, said it on the front. miss that jacket every day.
I brought one this week...amazing bike ❤❤
So… that’s heaven.
yes it is ....
Esta bestia podría competir en el dakar
Es scott summer???
no, mio
i have those same rims on my 400
The 1988 XR 600 R was the first new bike I ever bought. I love that thing! This guy is definitely not afraid to huck that big beast. 💪🏼😅
One thing about the XJ : Most of the times you will ride it home even after a crash.
🤌🏼
in my opinion the XRs are the most solid dirt bikes..... in another 20 years they will be still running
I will shut every other bike up just to hear that beauty!
I’m putting together a basket case xr250 my brother gave me. Watched this video a few times now. Great job
Long live XR200
Hermosa!!!😍🆙️🆙️👍🥂🇦🇷
Where did you get the plastic guard that goes between the rear tire and the swingarm and also protects the rear shock? Can't seem to find it online anywhere.
Hi Nick. Maybe you check www.cmsnl.com/ check different years, maybe you get lucky. Kind regards Thomas
Yes!!!
Hola. Sí, yo también sigo amando esta XR600R. He reconstruido 2 modelos de 1994 mientras tanto. El segundo con 644cc estará listo pronto. ¿Tienes mi lista de reproducción XR600 @ ruclips.net/p/PLAMSJUeEdZ-XX1B6ZtxkrY-hjE5Qii8_U Saludos cordiales desde Austria. Thomas
Looks like a sweet place to ride man
Nice video fun to watch
Effortless HP ,and torque
Wow.. you are flying on that xr and the xr is just so calm about it! No hiper reving or violent kicking around. ..Very cool!
Hi, thanks you like it. Did you check all my XR videos @ ruclips.net/p/PLAMSJUeEdZ-XX1B6ZtxkrY-hjE5Qii8_U kind regards Thomas
Like watching the american GNCC/XR 600 legend Scott Summers!😃👍😎
Hi, thanks you like it. Did you already check my XR playlist @ ruclips.net/p/PLAMSJUeEdZ-XX1B6ZtxkrY-hjE5Qii8_U kind regards Thomas
@@egger2500 hi awesome playlist 👍😊. I used to race Enduro myself for 15 years. Started my career on a 350 and 510 Husky 4 stroke, then Husaberg 350 and 501, which I picked up right at the factory in Rofors Sweden. Then it was two stroke KTM 300, and last to years I rode two stroke Suzuki RMX 250. But had to quit due to some injuries. In 1998 I took a trip from my country Norway over the pond to USA. the last GNCC round before the summer break went off in Manahawkin NJ, so went over to watch the best US offroad riders compete. In that particular event, Mr Summers injuired himself in the very first turn and had to withdraw. I got to talk to him before the start though. Steve Hatch on his factory FMF Suzuki won. Cheers from me🙋♂️🇧🇻
@@bikerman6907 Wow - great to hear stories like this plus, it seems that there are enthusiasts of this sport everywhere to find. I'm on everything on two wheels - started Trials in 1987 when I was 14, headed to Motocross, added Enduro in 1993 (XR600R - 1993) and since than I cannot get off, of it. In circa 2014 I started to restore 1990's bikes and ran into another Norwegan guy Ove from Oslo - meanwhile we're very good friends - also went for another trip to Norway in 2017 and had some beers at his Espegard fireplace ... hehe. If you're interessted in some ride pics you may check my bike picture website @ www.motopark.at/gallery/ kind regards from Austria Thomas
@@egger2500 you been to Norway! Cool!😃 Espegard fireplace, those are popular, you have good memory Sir😉👍Great to hear your riding background👍 Like you, I started riding trials, back in 1988, on a new Beta TR34 125 class, later on, Yamaha TY250 and Fantic 305/307/And watercooled K-Roo model. Have been to both World Championship Rounds i Sweden, in 1990 and 1991. Jordi Tarres was the main man back then. And it was one guy from Austria, who were around top 20 ish I think... named Eric Brandauer, maybe you know him...🤔😃 Yeah 1990's bikes are great😊. Am a car/bike collector myself. One of my vehicles is made in your country, in the town named Graz. 06 Gelandewagen G55 AMG with only 30k on the clock, looks like new. If you are in Norway some time, you can reach out to me. Cheers!🙋♂️😊

That xr250r. Motor on a 1985 200x atc.
Hi I love your videos, awesome riding! I was wondering if you ever put a stiffer spring in the rear shock on your xr600s? I have a 1994 model and I was thinking about fitting a heavier spring for more motocross style riding ... thanks!
Hi, thx you like my videos. No , I never put something stiffer in, the fork and damper setting was enough on 93 & 94 models. The changed the setting from 95-96 into: tooo soft. With my 1994 rebuild (2018) it's still good to jump and race some classic series here in Austria. You can check the whole rebuild pictures @ www.motopark.at/gallery/project-x/ I think the key for use the oem spec suspension and also in general is to stand as much as possible .... Kind regards Thomas
@@egger2500hey there Im looking at a 1991 xr600r is the suspension on that year good like the 93/94? cheers
@@maxoneillhall hi, I really don't know, I just know that they soften it too much from 95 and up, thats why I went for 2 - 1994 by now. I owned a 93 & 95 back in these days ---- the 95 shock was a desaster ... regards Tom
Nothing is tougher than the mighty XR600
Hi Shayne. That's true and kind of still is. Did you watch all my XR videos - than and now - U can find @ ruclips.net/p/PLAMSJUeEdZ-XX1B6ZtxkrY-hjE5Qii8_U ENJOY - Kind regards Thomas
are these competitive for enduros and hare scrambles nowdays?
Hello Jaime. It's way to slow for the top classes, but I think that I'd be competitive in the +45 senior class here in ACC. As I also ride EVO class 500cc I can say that these 1990 bikes with updated suspension are some 2-4 secs per lap (on MX track) slower than modern bikes. In my age of 49 I'm just out there for fun ...... kind regards Thomas
@@egger2500 nice!. Thanks for answering. Greetings from Argentina. Love your videos
@@jaime7890 Hallo to Argentina - from Austria! THX you like the videos.
lovely bikes. hondas and yamahas my favorites I have a TT600 1992 pretty much like XR600 handles pretty, also few xrs and Xls, to bad i am old now and heavy my passion but have to be very carefull is not the same landing on the floor at 59 than 20s or 30s.
Hallo, yes these bikes are it. The 1993 XR600R was my first love. Never came away from it. Some years ago I restored this 1994. At 49 I still cannot feel big cons to my riding - thankful for this. Here an than I ride the XR ... what a nice bike. Did you check my XR play list @ ruclips.net/video/leGx5Nb9kwo/видео.html enjoy - Kind regards Thomas
Flyin Hawaiian
Very nice!! I'd give anything to have your shop/tools and the time.......... Those black wheels really set it off and takes a few years of the ole gale for how she looks. Don't ever sell it!!
Hi Ron. Thanks you like it. I fell in love with this bike in 93. Some years ago found it in Italy. If financial situation allows, I ' ll keep it forever. I was surprised how good it runs. I hope to be able to rebuild the complete engine in the next 2 years. Have you checked my XR600 videos already? THX a lot. Kind regards Thomas ruclips.net/p/PLAMSJUeEdZ-XX1B6ZtxkrY-hjE5Qii8_U
checked your CR250R video - love the sound of this 2-Stroke - nice
So smooth!!
Runs good on that big track looked liked suspension needs stiffer springs
SHUT THAT STUPID FUCKING DOG UP REALLY?!?!!?
That's a nice track! Most probably not even there now!😟 👊✊️💥💨💨💨
It's there all right. It's now private track of Tim Gajser.

Silent Assassin
Good to see the xrr in its element. Lot of on board footage these days with go pros but doesn't give the viewer what they really want and that's to see the bike go past at speed or tackling the terrain I understand the logistics of having someone holding a camera or having to set the shot up yourself but these vids are what I like to see. Go the 🐖
I have one of these. I'm starting her rebirth this year
Where did you found the boyesen cover? (The right cover of the cilinder)
